Entrance tickets can be purchased only on-site under the following conditions:

- Adults – 5.00 € / 9.78 BGN
- Group visits for pupils, students, and pensioners (over 20 people) – 3.00 € / 5.87 BGN

- Family visit (for a family of up to five members) – 12.00 € / 23.45 BGN

Combined fees for all museum sites (valid for 2 days):

The last Thursday of the month has free entrance fees for individual visitors. Only the guided tour is paid.


People with permanent disabilities and children under 7 years of age visit the museum sites free of charge.
Do you offer guided tours and group visits?
Yes, guided tours are available at all museum sites, and for group visits we recommend contacting us in advance. Tours are offered in Bulgarian and English and are subject to an additional fee depending on whether you choose a full or a short guided tour.
Is the museum accessible for people with disabilities?
The building of the Regional History Museum – Sliven is partially accessible for visitors with disabilities. We provide a mobile ramp that ensures access to the first floor. If needed, our team will gladly assist visitors with reduced mobility during their visit.
Is the museum suitable for families with children?
Yes. The Regional History Museum – Sliven is suitable for visitors of all ages, including children. The exhibitions present history in an accessible and engaging way, making them interesting even for the youngest visitors. Special activities and games are often organized, turning a museum visit into a fun experience for children.

Is there any parking and a place to store luggage?
The museum does not have its own parking lot, but there are convenient public parking spaces nearby. There is no designated cloakroom in the building, but if needed, bulky luggage, backpacks, or umbrellas can be temporarily left at the entrance—our staff will assist you.
Can I take photos inside the museum?
Yes, amateur photography is allowed in the museum halls. Visitors are kindly asked not to use flash to protect the exhibits. Professional photo or video shoots (including the use of tripods) are allowed only with prior permission from the museum.
Is there a gift shop or café at the museum?
At the museum entrance, there is a small souvenir stand where you can purchase books, postcards, and themed souvenirs. There is no café inside the museum, but since it is located in the city center, you will find plenty of nearby places to eat and drink.
