On 14 December 2006 a donation from the remarkable Bulgarian scientist professor Krumka Sharova was made to the Regional historical museum – Sliven. Professor Sharova left us on 22 October 2006

At her will most of her personal library is granted to be used by all historians, ethnologists, literary and country scientists and others, who research problems related to the Bulgarian history.

The books are especially valuable and have been collected for decades – the time through which she was occupied with researching the Bulgarian Revival, the history of the Balkan nations in 18 - 19 century and others.
