INTERNATIONAL  TOURIST  PRESENTATION “CULTURAL TOURISM”  -  16 – 18 April  2008

The Regional Historical Museum participated in tourist market on 16-18 April 2008.



   


Anniversary Scientific Conference – 12-14 May 2008
From 12 to 14 May 2008, in the town of Sliven there will be two anniversaries to celebrate – 130 years from setting up museum activity and 95 years from establishing the museum in Sliven.




  
 


On 28 February 2008 in the building of the Regional Historical Museum an exhibition was opened. The name of the exhibition is “130 years after liberation the military correspondents send … “




  
 



The unique golden mask found by the archeologist Georgi Kitov in a mound near Sliven can be seen from 03.09.07 to 09.09.07 as part of the exhibition "The Valley of the Tracian Kings in the Sliven Area".


  




Unique finds were discovered, some of which are: a silver rhyton with the head of  horned animal discovered in a IV BC Thracian



 




The Archeological Summer event 2007 was officially opened at 18 June in the region of Sliven

 




On the second and third floor is situated the guest exhibition “The minerals: never fading flowers of nature” from the National museum “Earth and people” – Sofia.



 



Regional – historical museum – Sliven presents two guest exhibitions opened on 17 May 2007.


  





On 9 April 2007 at 18 o’clock was organized a holiday Easter concert in one of the halls of the Regional historical museum.
