The library at the Historical Museum of Sliven
has 11 300 volumes of scientific, periodical and
local history literature.
It preserves valuable old printed books, collections
and magazines, which came out in the first years
after the Liberation of Bulgaria from the Ottoman
rule up to modern times.
They are distributed in the following sections:
